At Baptism, God begins a relationship that we explore and grow in for the rest of our lives. Adult participation in lifelong faith learning is one of the core values and goals at St. John’s Church. Opportunities for adults include:

The Adult Forum on Sunday Mornings at 9:00 a.m.
Each Sunday during the year, a forum is held for adults. A presenter provides background on a timely biblical, theological, ethical or social theme. Time for discussion follows.

During the summer (June 17 – September 2, 2007), book reviews are presented by members of the church and have resulted in lively discussion on timely issues.

On June 17, member and published author Anoo Verghis who will present her new cookbook “Karala Cooking: A Distinctive Cuisine from India’s Spice Coast.” Limited copies of the book will be available for purchase at the time of her presentation.

Spiritual Oxygen for Parents
Spiritual Oxygen for Parents will resume in the fall – Friday mornings at 9:30.


Whether a person is preparing for adult baptism, desiring deeper knowledge of the faith, or affirming the faith passed on to them, staff members at St. John’s Church are available to suggest resources and programs for individualized learning at home.
