Children
At Baptism, God begins a relationship that we explore and grow in
for the rest of our lives. St. John's Church is committed to a comprehensive
program of faith learning for children. Each Sunday (mid-September
through mid-June) children can participate in guided faith learning
experiences in two distinct ways.
Sunday Church School
At 9:00 a.m., classes are segmented according to grade, sometimes
two grades being combined, in a traditional Sunday Church School
structure
Children
in Worship
Encouraging children's participation in worship is a core value
at St. John's Church. Wherever possible and realistic, we encourage
parents to bring children to worship as well as enroll them in
Faith Adventure or Grace Place. We understand that each family
and child have different abilities and needs. Therefore, child-care
is provided throughout the morning, led by a trained child-care
provider supported by volunteers.
Spirtual Oxygen for Parents
Meets Friday mornings at 9:30 a.m., beginning September 19, 2008.
Babysitting available.
