FROM
THE EAST:
Take I-78 (Local) Westbound to Exit 48 (Route 24 West, Springfield
and Morristown). Proceed to the third exit marked
“Summit Avenue, Summit.” Turn left at the first light.
You are now on Summit Avenue. Go over Route 24 and continue
straight on Summit Avenue to the third light – about 1.1
miles. Turn right onto Springfield Avenue. Go straight through

more lights [Beechwood, Maple, Morris, and New England Avenue
(right side)/Tulip Street (left side)]. St. John’s is on
the
right, 1/10 mile past New England Avenue; parking is in the rear.
FROM
THE WEST:
Take
I-78 Eastbound to Exit 45 (Glenside Avenue, Summit); turn left
at the light onto Glenside Avenue (Eastbound); turn
left at the stop sign onto Baltusrol Road; turn left at the next
stop sign onto Morris Avenue; you will pass Overlook Hospital
on your right. At the 4th light, turn left onto Springfield Avenue;
go straight at the next light (New England Avenue). The
church is on the right, 1/10 mile past New England Avenue; parking
is in the rear.
FROM
THE NORTH:
Take I-287 to Route 24 Eastbound (to Springfield);
go to Exit 7 (River Road) toward Summit; proceed to the second
traffic
light and turn left onto Morris Avenue (Schering Plough Corp.
is on the corner). Proceed to the 3rd traffic light (Springfield
Avenue) and turn right; go straight at the next light (New England
Avenue). The church is on the right, 1/10 mile past New
England Avenue; parking is in the rear.
OR
Take the Garden State Parkway South to Exit
142 (I-78 West) and follow the directions above for “FROM
THE EAST.”
FROM
THE SOUTH:
Take the New Jersey Turnpike to Exit 14. Take
I-78 Westbound in the local lanes and follow the directions
above for
“FROM THE EAST.”
OR
Take the Garden State Parkway TO Exit 142; stay
in the far right lanes. You must go EAST on I-78 to the first
exit; follow
the signs to make a U-turn for I-78 West. Then follow the directions
above for “FROM THE EAST.”
OR
Take I-287 North to I-78 East. Then follow the directions above
for “FROM THE WEST.”
