Silent Film & Live Organ Accompaniment
by renowned organist Jason Roberts

Friday, October 24 at 7:00 PM

In the early days of film, the audio was often live music, performed by an organist in the theatre, and the “silent film” was cast on a big screen with only video and occasional screens of text interspersed throughout. Join us this year for our Halloween Hoopla as we go back in time and enjoy a fantastic performance of the silent film Phantom of the Opera, with live organ accompaniment, improvised by renowned organist Jason Roberts. Jason is a New York City-based organist who is well-known for his creative and captivating improvisational style. Before the movie begins, join us for a trunk-or-treat at 5:30 PM and a light dinner at 6:00 PM.
Be sure to wear your favorite Halloween costume and bring a canned good to support Loaves & Fishes Food Pantry as admission to the evening’s events.
