Forum, TODAY at 9:00 AM, Caminando Contigo–Walking with You: The Anti-Racism Committee will share stories of Summit’s day laborer population. We will write letters of support to them and advocacy letters to our state leaders on their behalf.

GRACE Hot Drink Collection, November 2–23: Please bring any of these items to church so we can help feed our hungry neighbors. All items are due November 23.

Interweave: Light Bearers, November 6 at 7:00 PM: This month’s presenter will be Pastor Scalet, sharing about Martin Luther as a reformer, with dialog opportunities between other faith traditions. Light Refreshments and a free will offering.

GRACE Emergency Food Collection: Due to an increase in needed assistance, a goal of 1000 bags has been set and we have volunteered to do 100 grocery bags. Groceries must be brought in by 9:00 AM on November 9. Our bags will be assembled at St. John’s on November 9 after the 10:30 service. All sign ups are in the weekly email.

Upcoming Forums: November 9 we welcome The Rev. Dan Beirne from Global Refuge. He will update us on the vital work with immigrants that Global Refuge is engaged in across our nation. On November 16 The Rev. Ben Hogue from World Hunger will be with us.

Radicle Grace Labyrinth: Beginning the afternoon of Sunday, November 9 through Friday, November 14 there will be a labyrinth set up in the sanctuary for you to come and pray as part of our Radicle Grace: Rise, Transformed campaign. 

Veterans Day Sing, November 11 at 7:30 PM: Summit Chorale will host a special sing-in event at St. John’s. They will be singing Verdi Requiem, so everyone in attendance is encouraged to sing along. This a free event with a special collection to support a veterans program in our area.

The Bible With & Without Jesus: Tuesdays at 7:00 PM through November 11.

Caminando Unidos en Cristo Spanish-language Bible study Thursdays at 8:00 PM on Zoom.

Third Annual Christmas Market, December 6 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM to support GRACE. There will be many outside craft vendors, a bake sale, a petting zoo, a carol-sing, and a visit from St. Nicholas! So please help spread the word and come the day of the event to shop — bring all your friends! Sign up in the weekly email for donations of Christmas baked goods for the bake sale and volunteers to work, help cook/bake, set up, clean up.
