Church flowers enhance our worship every Sunday and members are encouraged to sponsor flowers in memory of a loved one or in celebration of a special occasion. Please remember to submit your contribution (suggested $85) noting FLOWERS in the memo line.

Immigration Forum, October 19 & 26 at 9:00 AM: The SJSM Committee will lead two forums on immigration. The first will be Exploring the History of US Immigration.

Partnership Sunday, October 19 at 3:00 PM: St. Stephan’s Grace Community in Newark, one of our partner congregations, is celebrating their annual Partnership Sunday and we are invited. Refreshments will follow the service at 7 Wilson Avenue, Newark. Street parking, carpooling is encouraged. Contact Pastor Blake if interested.

Market Street Mission Coat Drive. We will be collecting new and gently used coats, scarves, and gloves. Items are due October 19.

Halloween Hoopla, October 24: Join us for a spooktacular, family-friendly event. At 5:30 PM we will kick-off the evening with a Trunk-or-Treat in our parking lot. At 6:00 PM the fun will move inside for some Halloween-themed games and a light dinner. At 7:00 PM there will be a viewing of the original silent film, The Phantom of the Opera, with live organ improvisation by renowned organist Jason Roberts. All ages are welcomed and costumes are encouraged. Please bring a canned good to support our local Loaves & Fishes Food Pantry as admission.
