TODAY at the 10:30 AM service, we will honor five of our young people as they receive holy communion: Greta Moss, Adam New, Elsie New, Xavier Harlow-Jennings, Aaron Ngo. Welcome to the Lord’s table!

Forums: Toward Saint John’s 2050, TODAY & May 11 at 9:00 AM: Our Council will share with us some of the challenges our physical campus is facing after 60+ years of ministry and plans to address these issues for robust ministry for many decades to come.

ASP Theme Training, TODAY at Noon. This meeting is mandatory for all volunteers.

May Bridges Collection: We are collecting sustainable lunch supplies to give to homeless individual through Bridges Outreach. On May 18 at 9:00 AM we will have an intergenerational event to pack 200 lunch bags. Sign up in the narthex or in the weekly email to donate items. All items must be delivered to church no later than 8:00 AM on May 18. Thank you, in advance! The BRIDGES Run will take place on May 31. Sign up in the weekly email.

Tea Party for Cross Roads: Our annual Afternoon Tea Party to raise money for Cross Roads Camp and Retreat Center is on May 10 at 3:00 PM. The registration deadline is May 5.

‘Notes of Gratitude’ Spring Concert, May 12 at 7:00 PM, presented by the Summit Interfaith Council at Central Presbyterian Church, 70 Maple St., Summit. St. John's Choir will be participating. The concert is free and a reception will follow. Please bring non-perishables for Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry.

Organ Vespers for Eastertide, May 18 at 4:00 PM. Organ music by Scheidemann, Muffat, Dupré, Guilmant, and Bach. Brian Harlow-Jennings, organist.

Summer Fun Nights: Once a month beginning June 29 from 5:30 to 7:30 PM. The theme this year is Summer of Joy! These gatherings are for ALL PEOPLE—kids, youth, adults, seniors, families, singles, friends, YOU! Each event includes dinner, a Bible story, activities, and worship. Additional dates are July 27 and August 24, watch your weekly email for more information.
