St. John’s Choir:  The choir is open to high school students through adults and rehearses Wednesdays at 7:30–9:00. They sing most Sundays (September to June) at the 10:30 AM service. Contact Christopher Harlow-Jennings for more information.

Children’s Choir  (Open to children in Grades 2 - 8) and Ye Little Saints & Singers  (Pre-K–Grade 1) rehearse on Sundays at 9:30 - 10:00 AM. Contact Christopher Harlow-Jennings.

Faith Formation, for children ages Pre-Kindergarten through 6th Grade, resumes September 7 from 10:00–10:30 AM. All are welcome as we grow our faith together through Bible reading, fun, and sharing. Contact Linda Walker for more information.

9/11 Memorial Sing, TODAY at 3:30 PM at Calvary Episcopal Church with the Summit Chorale. All are invited to join in singing the Mozart Requiem. 2:00 PM rehearsal.

Lunch Bunch: Our biweekly Bible study will meet Wednesday, September 17 from 12:00–2:00 PM in the library. Bring a lunch as we will delve into the book of Genesis.

Fall Worship Volunteer Sign Ups: Sign Ups for the fall services are now open. There will be a training session on September 14 at 9:00 AM for all volunteers. Please sign up today!

Confirmation Orientation for youth grades 7–9. We meet monthly on Sunday evenings. The orientation will be held Sunday, September 14 at 5:30 PM

Community Food Bank Volunteer Day at their Hillside location on September 20 from 11:00 AM–1:30 PM for 15 volunteers. Sign up by September 3 in the weekly email.

Gathering Expedition, a weekend getaway for youth 8th-12th grade at Cross Roads Camp on September 26–28. The cost for the weekend is $175. Register by September 10.

Cocina Caribeña y Cultura Latina is an introduction to the culture, traditions, and cuisine of Puerto Rico, Cuba, and the Dominican Republic. Join us for dinner and discussion on September 21 at 5:00 PM. Sign up in the weekly email by September 17.

Halloween Hoopla: Volunteers are needed to help plan this year’s Halloween Hoopla being held at St. John’s on Friday, October 24. There are jobs for all ages. Contact Jama Bowman.

Fellowship Time: We need food donations for fellowship time, Sundays from 9:00 AM–Noon. They can be homemade or store-bought. Do your part and sign up in the weekly email.
