Summit Interfaith Council Thanksgiving Service held at St. Teresa of Avila Church (306 Morris Ave., Summit), November 23 at 6:30 PM with fellowship following the service. There will be a collection of non-perishable goods for the Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry.
Christmas Market, December 5, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, supporting GRACE. We need donations of Christmas crafts, baked goods and volunteers to help cook/bake, set-up, clean-up, and work the event. See the weekly email to sign up.
LSMNJ Christmas Gifts, due December 6: You can pick up a card for a children’s gift in the narthex, or suggestions for Senior gifts, also in the narthex.
Mitten Tree: Collection of hats, mittens, and scarves for St. Stephan’s-Grace, due December 13.
Family Promise Gift Cards: Donations are due December 13. We are collecting ShopRite, Uber, or gas cards, as well as laundry detergent, feminine hygiene products, and Dove soap.
Ministry Highlight: Altar Guild & Linens, which set and clean up the communion elements each week. This work is signed up based on need/availabilty. Altar linens used for the service are washed and cared for by members at home. If interested, contact Bev Kaczmarski.
