The Gospel of Mark: For six Tuesdays beginning September 22 at 7:00 PM in the library. We will walk through the Bible’s earliest source for the life of Jesus with scholar Amy-Jill Levine.
SJSM will lead an open forum on Sunday, September 27 at 9:00 AM to discuss current events. Come for dialogue and ideas for how to respond to current events from our faith perspective.
Sanctuary Renovations Update: We are about to begin the construction phase of the sanctuary renovations, hoping all permits and preparations for construction to begin will be complete by mid-October. As a reminder, we will need to move out of the sanctuary and into Hinman Hall for worship services during the months of construction. Plan to attend the Forum on October 4 to hear about all the plans and updates we have about the project.
Our church library is beginning bimonthly book reviews to highlight some of our wonderful resources. Everyone is encouraged to make use of our library and check out these resources.
Crafters Needed: The 4th Annual Saint John’s Christmas Market is December 5. If you are interested in donating crafts or wish to help volunteer, please contact Izzy Calis.
Who's My Neighbor: Each neighborhood/town/region will gather over food and conversation. You should receive your invitation to your neighborhood gathering in the next few weeks.
