Family Promise Gift Cards due TODAY. Peter Jacob, Executive Director of Family Promise Union County, will be joining us this today in worship and to collect our donations.

Christmas at Sea Program: If you are interested in making hats and scarves for the Seamen’s Church Institute’s “Christmas at Sea” program, a group will meet after church July 6, July 20, August 3, and August 17. Supplies will be provided or bring your own. Contact Linda Walker.

Rummage Sale: St. John’s rummage sale is coming! Items may be dropped off Sunday, July 6 through Wednesday, July 9. NO CAR SEATS, STROLLERS, HIGH CHAIRS, OR CRIBS. The sale will be July 11-12 from 9:00 AM–4:00 PM. Contact Jane Bowman.

LSMNJ Backpacks: We are once again collecting school items for students in the LSMNJ’s affordable housing program. Please shop for the supplies and return filled backpacks to St. John’s by Sunday, July 27. Contact Helen Dachowicz if you have any questions. Materials can start being dropped off on Sunday, July 6.

Summer Bridges Collection begins July 6, we will be collecting sustainable lunch supplies to give to homeless individual through Bridges Outreach. During our Summer Fun Night, July 27 at 5:30 PM we will pack 100 lunch bags. Sign up in the narthex or in the weekly email to donate items. All items must be delivered to church no later than 9:15 AM on July 27.

Salud Mental: Camino de Vida will be offering a four-week educational series on mental health topics in Spanish. The program will be offered Tuesdays at 6:00 PM beginning July 15. Topics for each week are: depression, anxiety, domestic violence, and substance abuse. All are welcome. Please share with any Spanish-speaking neighbors and friends. Speak to Pastor Haydée for more information.

A Summer BRIDGES Run will be in Rahway on Thursday, August 14. If you wish to participate, please contact Carmen Johnson or Amy Tomlinson.

Summer Fun Nights: July 27 and August 24 from 5:30 to 7:30 PM. The theme this year is Summer of Joy! These gatherings are for ALL PEOPLE—kids, youth, adults, seniors, families, singles, friends, YOU!
