Pride Sunday, TODAY: June is LGBTQIA+ Pride Month and this Sunday will be Saint John’s Pride Sunday. Saint John’s has made a public commitment as an RIC congregation to affirm that LGBTQIA+ persons are queerfully and wonderfully made by God. We believe that diversity was God’s idea first, following God’s example we seek to include all people — and yes, we really mean ALL!

Christmas at Sea Program: If you are interested in making hats and scarves for the Seamen’s Church Institute’s “Christmas at Sea” program, a group will meet TODAY after church. Summer Fun Nights: Once a month beginning TONIGHT from 5:30 to 7:30 PM. The theme this year is Summer of Joy! These gatherings are for ALL PEOPLE—kids, youth, adults, seniors, families, singles, friends, YOU! Each event includes dinner, a Bible story, activities, and worship. There is a special collection for Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter. See the weekly email for the wish list. Additional dates are July 27 and August 24, watch your weekly email for more information.

Family Promise Gift Cards: Social Justice Social Ministry is collecting ShopRite cards with a value of at least $25 or more. Cards are due June 29 in the church office.

Rummage Sale: St. John’s rummage sale is coming! Items may be dropped off Sunday, July 6 through Wednesday, July 9. NO CAR SEATS, STROLLERS, HIGH CHAIRS, OR CRIBS. The sale will be Friday and Saturday, July 11-12 from 9:00 AM–4:00 PM. Questions? Contact Jane Bowman.
