ASP Fundraiser: Volunteers are preparing for their upcoming service trip to McDowell County, WV. The Peace by Piece Fundraiser runs through June. Donors will have the opportunity to “purchase” siding, decking, windows, roofing, and more ($10 and up) to renovate our model home. Full or partial sponsorships are welcomed; cash or check accepted.

Dedication and Recognition, TODAY after worship: After more than a year, our tank removal, oil to gas conversion, and front entrance restoration is now complete. Following the service we will dedicate our new entry and recognize several key volunteer workers who made this huge project possible.

Lunch Bunch, Wednesday, June 11 from 12:00–2:00 PM in the library. Bring a lunch, come for Bible study, discussion, fellowship, and prayer. 

Interweave’s Annual Dinner Benefit: You are invited to Interweave’s Annual Dinner Benefit: Celebrating Our Rainbow Connection on June 14, from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Christ Church (66 Highland Avenue, Short Hills). Pastor Blake Scalet is one of this year’s honorees. There will be silent and chance auctions. Music and entertainment from Vivid Stage. RSVP by June 9 via the weekly email, limited spaces, tickets start at $100.

Summer Worship Schedule: Starting June 15 through August 31, we will be worshiping together at ONE service beginning at 9:15 AM. During the summer when attendance is lighter, a single service makes better use of our worship volunteers and makes for a fuller assembly. It will be wonderful to worship as one congregation!

Juneteenth Celebrations, June 19 & 20: There is a community celebration of freedom and culture Thursday, June 19 from 5:00–9:00 PM at the Berkeley Heights YMCA (59 Locust Avenue, Berkeley Heights). You must register to attend. The second event will be Summit’s Juneteenth Celebration on Friday, June 20 at 4:30 PM on the Summit Green. Sign up in the weekly email to be a St. John’s representative at our tent.

CPR Training, June 28, 9:00 AM–Noon: There are a few spots available, deadline is June 13. Please register  online. If you have questions, contact Jane Bowman.

Summer Fun Nights: Once a month beginning June 22 from 5:30 to 7:30 PM. PLEASE NOTE THE DATE CHANGE. The theme this year is Summer of Joy! These gatherings are for ALL PEOPLE—kids, youth, adults, seniors, families, singles, friends, YOU! Each event includes dinner, a Bible story, activities, and worship. Additional dates are July 27 and August 24, watch your weekly email for more information.

Celebrate the Ministry of Bishop Tracie Batholomew on Sunday, June 29 from 5:00 - 10:00 PM at the Hyatt Regency Princeton for dinner, a program, cash bar, and lots of dancing. Music by The Urban Guerrilla Orchestra and DJ Ol Skool. Tickets are $50 per person. You must register by June 15. The Hyatt Regency is located at 102 Carnegie Center, Princeton, NJ 08540.

Rummage Sale: St. John’s rummage sale is coming! Items may be dropped off beginning Sunday, July 6 through Wednesday, July 9. The sale will be Friday and Saturday, July 11-12 from 9:00 AM–4:00 PM. Questions? Contact Jane Bowman.
